Filter Your Package Usage Data for More Specific Results
There is a filter panel at the top of the Package Usage Overview dashboard that you can use to narrow down the displayed data. It contains the following filters:
Package Name
- If you have published more than one AppExchange app, you can see the usage for all of them at once, or select certain packages of your choice.Subscriber
- Choose the specific customer names. Subscriber is a client who uses your app - either a lead or account.Organization Name
- Allows you to narrow the results to the usage of specific organizations (one subscriber company can own multiple Salesforce orgs where they use your app).Organization Type
- Decide if you want to see the usage data from any org, or only from production/sandbox instances.License Status
- Allows you to see the usage for different types of customers, such as trial or active customers, or the historical usage of those who have already uninstalled your app.Entity Name
- Enables you to choose the component that the user interacted with (e.g. specific Lightning Component or Apex class). If you use Feature Buckets, you can filter by the specific features here.Interaction Month
- The data visualized on this dashboard is based on the monthly aggregation of your app's usage. The Interaction Month filter allows you to narrow the visualized usage date range.
Save Preferred Views
If you consistently select the same filtering options and would like to have them selected every time you open the dashboard, you can create predefined dashboard views with any selections you wish. Refer to this article for more details: Save Dashboard Views.
